Release Date: May 27, 2026
We’ve made several improvements to the MyBuildingPermit (MBP) portal to make your experience easier, more accessible, and more informative.
Enhancements - ePermit
Improved Accessibility
The ePermit application site now better supports accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA). These updates make the site easier to use for everyone and include color contrast, improved link styling, and enhanced keyboard navigation throughout the main application process.
New Expiration Date column
A new dashboard column for Permit Expiration is now available. It can be added by selecting it from the list of available columns. The information displayed will vary based on the jurisdiction that issued the permit. If no data is available, the field will remain blank.
How to Show the Expiration Date on Your Dashboard
If you want to display the permit expiration dates, you’ll need to add the column to your dashboard grid.
To add the Permit Expiration column:
- Log in to MBP and choose Dashboard from the top navigation.
- On the grid, click the three vertical dots on any column header to open the settings menu.
- Select Columns and view the list of available column options.
- Check Permit Expiration from the list, then drag the new column to the position you prefer.
- After you’ve selected the columns you want to display, adjust the column widths by clicking and dragging the header dividers, or refresh your browser and the grid will automatically resize
General Best Practices
